Introducing Flourish Garden

Have you ever wanted to start a garden but didn’t know where to start? Then
you’ve come to the right place!

Welcome to our design and garden blog. I’m Zona Forsyth and with
co-founder Lesa Jones, we will take you from A-to-Z of garden design and beyond.

Based in California and Sweden, Lesa and I have worked together in the landscape
industry for over 30 years. Our real-life adventures have led us to meeting
interesting characters, and creating many amazing gardens around the globe. Sometimes challenging, but always fun.

Lesa is a plant expert and retired plant broker who is methodical and scientific in
her approach. She has procured plants from around the United States for gardens
in California, Texas, Arizona, and Nevada. She brings to the team a vast knowledge
of plant varieties that always amaze me.

I, on the other hand, am the creative landscape architect. I make clients happy
and drive people like Lesa, engineers and landscape contractors nuts.

“Why can’t I have that plant? Why can’t we do it this way? But that’s what the client wants, make it happen!”

In reality, I am also methodical in my approach...but a little drama can be fun and I do like to mix things up.

In the past few years, we have realized that there is a large community of
homeowners that want beautiful sustainable gardens but don’t have the budget
for design services and contractors.

So, we thought maybe it's time for us to give back to the community and share our
knowledge in planting design and gardening with those who don’t know where to
start, but want to design, create, work and have fun in their own garden space.

No matter what level of experience you have, we can always learn more.

Let’s get started! We are looking forward to helping you create the garden of your
dreams that will Flourish year after year.... Spring, Summer and Fall.
